Got a Q for all of u. I don't have much knowledge about k20 motors so here is my Q: Is is possible to put a k20 motor into a 5th gen civic?

you can do it, im not sure is hasport has mounts out yet, but if anyone does they do. but its really really expensive to do, especially the labor of putting it in.....especially when the motor itself is like 4-5 grand

nah motors are getting cheaper, you can pick on up for 35 ish, and yes hasport has the mounts and yes its bad ass, soon they will replace all B swaps as B engines become more and more scarce and the more RSX's are totaled.

k-series motors are better motors than all the others out right now, the only thing holding them back is price and swap difficulty.....once those factors go away there will be a lot more fast hondas out there

yeah soon enough k series is going to be running s**t around town. they make the same horsepower( if not more) weigh less than the b series and are able to be 6 speed

yea but give it like another year man the performance parts selection is gonna grow drastically and there will be alot of tuner shops out there that will be able to help you better....

Agreed, the swap is pretty straight forward. While more expensive initially, the fact that it's still a production motor is where you have the benefit of getting NEW parts, people are focusing their tuning on it, and it's just bad ass. (Beefier block than the B-Series.)

...then again, I'm biased. ;)
