these are the car in it's original form

ok i just got back from almsot 300 mile trip with my engine completely heat soaked, but i figured i'd give you a taste of my partially tuned car is running.. i know auto's suck.. leave those comments to yourself please.
Also i am not manually shifting due to holding camera, also notice my 0-60, i can't wait to really get this bad boy tuned

i am video of 0-100 mph

well it happened... i blew my first motor. my my boost controller hose came off my wastgate on the turbo and i goosed her, unknowing that,, and she spiked up to 40 psi on the stock block,, and shot out 2 rods a piston and the balance shaft 50 feet from my car....she had so much torque it tried to break my neck, i am so glad it didn't come through the car into me.
it sucks,, and a replacment i have found is between $1200-$1600 that hurts the pocket book.

but.... it's not the end of the world and can be fixed..
somehow in the whole situation, i haven't even slightly gotten mad..

have the motor pretty much ready to pull right out now,, just waiting on new motor..

so i decided with the down time tonight to port the evo3 exhaust on the turbo,,, 3 and 1/2 hours later i still have alot to do lol.

i ported the evo 3 turbo prolly as much as i am going to... sorry no before pics,, and i started on the evo o2 housing as well,, i got rid of all the casting and notches and gasket matched everything. getting it as slick i i possibly felt like. lol here are some turbo cat pics,

here are some pics from chessboxer that had a shop do it for like $600,, i think i did better, honestly,

oh yeah i cut abouut a inch opening in the downpipe section and i notched out and ported around the wastegate so it can open a full 90 degrees, to allow better flow as well.

what a lil more elbo grease can accomplish..

i am carless and i was stuck at the shop last night so i took my 2g intake apart and cleaned it throughly and then painted it house of color candy blue over a corse silver.

today i baught header wrap to help with the heat issues i was having, this is my first time to wrap, and i don't think it was a good idea to learn on such a hard header,, it took me a half a day but i think it looks good.
I need to paint it with 2000 degree paint then it'll be finished,
here are some pics..

ohh the steering wheel in the back is my sisters i ordered for them for the ole accord.

-

here are some older pics i found.

deciding that i neede a lil different look, i decide to add eyelids to my already unique headlights.

started by wetsanding it with 320 grit,
using adhession premoters and flexible additives, painted the eyelids and cleared, then re wetsanded with 600 grit and recleard them, i may one day add a diy projectors, we will have to see.

when it's a lil warmer than 18 degrees outside I'll stick them in for a installed photo
pics of the car i never had on here and should have...

the rain and snow let up for a min so i just sat these in and sat the bumper on , nothing is bolted up, so all the gaps are horrible, don't worry,,

I am not happy with the eyelids, i think i am going to make them bigger and much more aggresive looking, unfortunately this will cover most the bright lights,

because i was pushing 513 AWHP on my automatic, Call me getting old IDK i am tired of 5 spds,, when you have this much hp you don't need a 5 speed to go fast.

I have in no manner tried to expose or force an automatic tranny on anyone, nor have i really made any actions that should be aquiring riducule for my decision.
Luckly i didn't buy and build this for anyone on here. I built it for me.
so I'd appriciate the lack of downing comments concering the fact i chose to keep this an auto.

but for those who do like auto, this baby burns the tires all 4 on take off.

Hey man, glad to see you joined our forum as well! You do some sick work and I LOVE THE DSM.... Not a fan of yellow headlights, but yours I love... Kinda different, something you never see! So with all these painted VC's you do, you don't have a sick VC on yours?

I like this response :thumbs up:

And I totally agree....when you are pushing that much power to the wheels, there is no reason for a manual. If you can get an automatic that will handle the power, thats going to be faster with more accurate shifts.
