keep parking lights off - question..

yeah so recently i installed my headlights as some of you may know. anyways i didn;t have anyparking lights and i like how they look with just the headlights on. so what i want to do it get the parking lights to stay off except when i want to signal. like this...

anyone know how/if i can do this?

My only thougth is since it is a multifunction bulb (blinks and stays on) maybe you can put just a blinker bulb in there? or just wire it to be a blinker.

yeah thats what i was thinking if i could just disconnect the wire that makes the parking light come on when you turn the knob since i would imagin there would be seperate wires for the signal and the parking light.

there should be three wires going into the bulb..one black, one red and one green..i know the green one makes it blink...i was gonna say just snip the red one but thats the one that provides power to the bulb....hmmm......

just snip one of the wires. im almost positive that its the red one that keeps it on constant. but i would check up on that

If your trying to removed your parking lights completely, go under the dash into the fuse box and removed the daytime running light (DRL) fuse.

do you realize what daytime running lights arnt just the parking light???


they are the taillights and license plate lights too


people wont see you at night from the rear unless you have your brakes on..

i think the best part bout that chop was my little fix to my jdm style duct tape**NOTCIE ARROW**
