Keyless entry problem 99 si

My si has the oem alarm and just today it started acting funny, it has always locked & unlocked perfect but now it only locks and unlocks every 6th or 7th time I hit the button! I put new batteries in it & haven't changed anything including the stereo all stock, anyone know whats going on?

In case I need to un hook it does anyone know where the brain is located and what it looks like?

i had the same problem, i found out it was because the battery terminal was loose. so i re-soldered it and it worked perfectly and actually gave it more range. but two months later i went and got a whole new system lol
