The keyless rides on the factory radio for '96-'98 Civics. It is seperate for '99-'00 Civics. if you swap out your factory radio for an aftermarket radio or CD player on a '96-'98 Civic you can have problems. The factory radio can be hidden behind the dash and a wiring harness can be purchased to hook up both head units at the same time so you can have an aftermarket unit and retain your keyless.
