I have an 05 Civic VP and I'm looking into keyless entry. How hard would this be, and what parts will I need?

Well you would need an alarm with a keyless entry feature, a power door lock relay and 2 door lock actuators. I have done this to a 98 dx hatch with a viper alarm pretty easy install.

He said he wants keyless entry. He didn't say anything about an alarm and hell, probably be easy enough to grab everything he needs from stock salvage cars (plus, then you have the quality of Honda parts).

I'd say look into a keyless entry system. Yes, they sell just keyless entry (no alarm included).

Well no need to be a d**k about it. Now tell me this how often do you find 05 civic's at a junk yard? It would be a lot of work to do this because in order to get power locks to look oem you would need new door panels switches and relays. It would be much eaiser to get an alarm with keyless entry.

I wasn't being a d**k about it. :what:

Plus, I mentioned buying just a keyless system (aftermarket).
