Keyless Prob

I've had too much trouble with my keyless hidden under the dash (behind the power adapter, or in Anfrey's case, the ashtray). Currently it's not even working. Just stopped working several times and I'm tired of disassembling the dash. So, one day far from now when I have money I'll get aftermarket keyless instead.
Oh and the way it stopped working was it worked when we moved it, then it started only working when it wanted to. When it wanted to became less and less even though I reprogrammed it several times. So, I got tired of it and gave up, so it's just sitting under there serving no purpose what-so-ever.

how do i give it power.... i have the Din going into the adapter that goes into the current head unit... then i got the antenna going into the current head as well... all thats left is the 'security' cable, i plug that one into the stock unit and the wireless dont work??

for me, i have everything going to the keyless, the head unit has a whole new wiring system, power/audio signal cables. the radio i think needs all the wiring harnesses connected to function right.
NOFX, are you saying that you keyless doesn't work anymore? Cuz, my power door locks don't work, but I do have the stock radio in my dash. Could it be a disconnected wire back there? Does the power door locks run through the stock radio even when it is jammed in the dash?

I have my stock radio hidden under the dash and my aftermarket in the stock radio placement. My keyless remotes were reprogrammed several times when they would seem to go on the fritz. Sometimes I thought that the keyless seemed to have more problems when it rained out, but I really don't now. The door locks, interiorlights and everything else still work fine. The keyless was working perfectly at first (well, we hadn't thought it was working when we programmed the remotes, but come to find out later they worked fine). For several weeks it worked flawlessly, but then slowly it started working less often. Now they won't even cycle when I try reprogramming or using the remotes. And it's not the batteries on either remote (I have two); both batteries are new.
