I have a kicker L5 (15inch tho). I have to say its by far the best sub ive ever owned. They hit hard as anything. Ive heard that the 12's arent as good as the 15's when compared to eachother. But the choice is yours....just my two cents

Kicker Solobarics have a HIGH frequency of failure.

There's like 3 pages of L5s on Trading Circuit (Where Circuit City offloads all it's defective and open box merchandise) On virtually every one of them the "primary function does not work".
