Well I put a kill switch in my 93 Civic SI, Right behind the lighter in the center console. Well had it in there for less then a day and went to go show my girlfriend it, cause she drives it to, while driving the car and I think the metal from the switch and the center console support, and killed the car. The car just shut off. Wouldn't start again. SO i needed a tow. Check engine light is on and won't jump to check code and stays solid. I think I killed the fuel pump. Not sure what else. Other then the fact that I am a big dummy, moron, or whatever you want to call me I need a checklist of what I need to look at for this repair. Starting from the simples things ( fuses, relays) to the bigger thing ( fuel Pump, engine). My only excuss was it was a rush job. Lesson learned, just need help please

what actually happen..im a little confused.. someone hit the switch while driving?..i wasnt really a fan of the kill switch.. i got a relay hooked on my fuel pump wire. i think is better then the switch. cost me less then $5, easier to install and less hassle then a kill switch.

well i was driving, bumpped the console (where my kill switch was hidden), car was on, not moving at a light, and the car just died. wouldn't start at all. Car will not turn over. I think the back of the switch hit the metal center console support and fried the fuel pump. Or something, I just need to know what to look at to repair this, wheather it be fuses or relays, or a fuel pump, or whatelse would fix this. I want my car to start, I hate driving my GF stupid Ford Focus ZX3, wanna be hatch

you can use a digital multi meter and test the end of the wire where the fuel pump is to see it your getting power to the fuel pump.. but im not sure how to check the fuel pump to see if its fine or not..
