knock noise

I hear this light knock noise from my 5th gen Honda when I accelerate but not sure how to find out where it is coming from i think it is my belt since it only does it when i hard accelerate.

It can be so much. Check it. Open your hood, and accelerate with the throttle cable, if you don't hear the knock then it's either the transmission, suspension, or something on the chassis.

Seriously, it could be ANYTHING. CHECK IT.

Pop the hood, push on the valve that the throttle cable attaches to, the engine should stay increasing speed. Listen to see if the sound is coming from the head, the block, or pulleys. If it's the head, it's most likely valve tap which can be fixed by a valve adjustment usually.

Have you checked the ignition timing? You may be hearing spark knock.
