As many of you know, im currently in the process of boosting the D, with many of my parts already purchased i sit paitently waiting in front of the mailbox for the delivery guys. So this is my thread dedicated to keeping you updated with pictures and the whole nine. Today my first part came, johnnyracecar 6 inch front mount intercooler...check this baby out..

ive spent uhh...620 for the turbo, front mount intercooler and wastegate...the injectors, gauge pod/gauges i got for free..

down piping im gettin done all custom when i get my exhaust re-done to 2.5 inch all the way back...im currently in the market for a manifold...having no luck finding anything nice..

turbo d16 kicks ass you have about 20+ hp on b16 and lots more tq,im gonna turbo my ex early this summer. greddy ofcourse

yeah turbo d16's are the s**t and you can make them quick and the best part about it is if you blow a motor BIG DEAL $500 there's another one... its not like you blew a b18c1 or anything then you would be f**kd

i would go custom if i was you, but hey whatever floats your boat man cuz the greddy kit is easy to upgrade and puts out nice numbers, its just expensive..

Im looking to turbo this summer too. My only concern with a custom kit is getting everything I need. I dont mean the basic big stuff, but little things like oil lines and brackets and s**t like that, cause I'd have NO idea what i'd need to get, hence I'll probably just opt for the greddy kit for like 1700 and do a custom intercooler and piping

i'd suggest turbocivic.net but that seems to deal solely with the greddy kit.

yea im still in need of about that much money too, but im doing other stuff like clutch and flywheel to support the power..

March 31 Update

I got a bunch of new parts in the mail, too lazy to take pics of them, but ill get around to it..

Anyway, my turbo came in the mail the other day...turns out its defective, the bushing is bad for the turbine and makes it spin hard..so im going to get it rebuilt and ported...woo!

I order my blow off valve thursday, its saturday and it already came! I got this turboXS type RFL blow off valve for 90 bucks and its brand new. Damn good deal. I also have my DMS 450's and fuel pump and my boost controller in the attatched images.
