i got it for $1200. for the screen covering the vents, there is a button that i can press so that the screen will close half way and allow air to come from the vents.

I was gonna get one that at first. Thing I don't like is in the winter it would be getting a lot of heat. I doubt that's good for it.

If you live in cali like you do I doubt i'tll be much of a prob, I doubt the AC would harm it.
