I have a gas station with 110 leaded nearby and I want to know how I have to change my motor to use it. Thanks

Lose your catalytic converter.

The lead in the gas that used to be necessary to keep the valve faces and seats lubricated will coat the inside of your catalyst and screw it up good and proper.

Why do you need 110 octane? Are you boosting 1.5 bar? Got 13.5:1 c/r?

I ran 110 octane in my 11.5:1 Kawasaki and it ran like s**t.

as the other guy said unless you are running boost beyond the limits of pump gas, or very high compression it serves no purpose to use 110octante.

The higher the octane, the more it resists detonation.

it'll ruin your o2 sensor and your cat. and make your car run like absolute s**t unless its tuned to run 110. dont do it.

I plan on bumping up compression and having it tuned only for this gas.

not to mention it will cost around $100 to fill your tank up defeating the purpose of a civic

i dunno about it being legal and what not but i know if your car isn't tuned to run higher octane you will mess up the injectors, fuel filter and so on..

at work we had a h22 prelude come in complaining of bogging and backfiring and such....he neglected to tell us that he put straight cam 2 in his tank...

i know he fried the filter and his injectors were clogged horribly

110 will make your car run like shiiiiiit.

higher octane = higher resistance to combustion.

higher resistance to combustion = less power yeild in your average motor.

im guessing your intake filter, vtec light, and muffler can make it above-average =p
