1997 Civic EX 2-door:
Problem: Power steering pump is spitting fluid. You can ever so slightly see it spitting as the engine is running. There is fluid caked all down the right side of the engine, and has gotten on my belts too. It's not a huge leak to where I've lost a lot of fluid that's noticeable. Car is steering just fine, but obviously something I need to fix.
Question: Will the whole pump have to be changed, or can you just change the seals inside the pump? I'd love to be able to save the money if I can. I also assume that maybe the belts should be changed out since they have been caked with fluid? Would that possibly start ruining the belts?
