I noticed over the last week or so, I was starting to lose a little bit of oil. ('96 Civic with an LS/VTEC swap)
After a can of brake clean and some pressureized air (via Air compressor), I narrowed it down to the VTEC spool valve, And distributor o-ring gasket. Naturally i decided to replace them both.
Upon doing so, I found out that all three of the mounting bolts to my spool valve seem to be slightly stripped. This brings me to my delema.... Should I drill, tap, and Helicoil the holes? Or what other options am I left with?
Ive searched and cant seem to find the answers Im looking for, So here I am. Any suggestions?
