Leather restoration...

Following my s2k wheel install thread...

A question though, the leather on the steering is worn a bit and feels rough (almost like how clearcoat fails on paint), is there a restoration coating I can apply to it to make it smooth again?

get a wheel skin steerign wheel cover i have it and if you like thicker steerign wheels like on pntiacs youll liek the wheel skin cover i have it in gray/black top and bottom are dark gray and the sides are black looks nice after 4 years

it's dead animal skin. It lost the ability to heal a long time ago.

I used to sell at least one steering wheel cover a day....often the faux sheepskin.

Anyhow, i'm just going to wear down the rough leather with my sweaty palms. I couldn't get myself to put a steering wheel cover on an s2k wheel.

Get the sheepskin cover...dye it takata green. Boom, instant JDM.
