LED Bulb sizes

I recently re-did my gauges and a/c control from the white bulbs and bought new red led's. But I still need to change the defrost button and the cruise control... does anyone know what size led's those take? (I think the cruise control is a film strip not an actual led am i right?)

also, there are I think either 1 or 2 bulbs that actually light up the gauge cluster itself (which lights up the needles) what size are those? because it looks greenish/white and just doesn't look good.

ok one more question, haha does the sunroof button light up? i noticed mine doesn't but haven't checked to see if it has bulbs or what.

any help would be appreciated.

sunroof button does not light up to my knowledge. the easiest way i found to get the bulbs is to jsut take them out, and take then into a parts store... they should be able to look it up.

i just bought some bulbs for my cluster today.. and they looked it up in a couple of seconds.

It's ok, I have a feeling since they are smaller ( I just saw the backing didn't actually take them out ) that they will be #74... or 24... whichever is the smallest, I always get them all mixed up.

they are 24# i belive maybe 4-5 in the bezel 74# may have one in the bezal and 2 in behind the heat/air cond. controls.

In the bezel there were 4 (or 5 i cant remember) 74's and 1 194... but what I wanted was the ones that actually shine on the bezel... I'm guessing its a 194 maybe? or 2 74's? I'm not sure.... I'm going to find out today so I'll post later so if anyone wants to know they will...

There are 2 of them? Would it look good shining the same color (red)? or should I just go with bright white?

Well I broke the bulbs trying to get them out, hahaha and I broke one of the connectors that holds the bulb, so I guess i'll have to find some new ones... oh well.

There are 2 in the climate control, they are the smallest bulbs if I remember correctly.. so 74.

The bulbs behind my A/C and Recirc are out.

Ya what are the sizes AND # of the bulbs that light the symbols on the A/C and Recirc. buttons, mine are both out but the light does come on when you engage them. Deforst button still has it's back lighting? Also is the "cruise" suppose to be back lit on the button? Mine only lights up the light to tell you it is on???

where do u buy those lights... local radio shack or something? do they come out of the black things that u take of the back of the gauge cluster and you only need to change the three big ones to light the cluster in red correct?
