Im doing my 2000 civic ex climate control and a/c defrost buttons and all today. I took the filters off the A/c defrost buttons. Do I need to take this one off. Would you recommend it or no. Looks almost like its riveted on but im sure i can just tear it off if i try.

I didnt do it the way the guy posted a link to above. I just put leds and resistors into the bulb holders. I kinda like it now when i think about it i may redo it to that way in the link but i doubt it...looks fine to me and thats what counts...maybe ill do that in future

did you sand down the led's before installing them? it defuses the light output better than leaving it the way it is

with pretty coarse paper, you want to basically flatten the ball end of the led. just be careful not to get too deep where the light emitter is

k cool. Coarse and then smooth it off with fine? Cuz imo if you do it with coarse the surface will become rough and the light emision wont be smooth off a rough surface as a smooth one
