the brightest LED's i have used is superflux led's they are hella bright but u can also buy some 1 watt led's but they are like $5 a piece
http://www.lumiledsfuture.com/products/line.cfm?lineId=4 <that is for superflux led's

a good place to get other LED's are www.oznium.com you can get single LED's tons of colors with resistors and also you can get them prewired they are like 50cents a piece hit me up i have worked quite a bit with LED's and currently making brake lights like the cadillacs use for my tail lights i am using about 200-300 LED's ;)

anyone kno where i can get a sequential circut board for my leds? a friend used one on his stratus spoiler with his led breaklight he made and basically you can program the board to scan in diff. patterns, i believe his is a Motorolla board, but he got it from a guy a few years back and i cant find them anywhere, ever heard or used them?

hey bigdcivic let me look around for ya i think i know what you are talking about cause i have done quite a few things with LED's they are really fun and the possiblites are endless...abouyt the gauge clusters like in your dash? they would have to be mounted on a base i think but i guess you could if u can fabricate it.....and yes u am doing my own LED tail lights they are about done i have a few more LED's to do they are all pretty much wired up it lights up my entire room bright red.....i'll post some pics

I tried taking my spoiler light apart once in my EG Coupe, and lets just say that when I sold it the light wasnt back on the spoiler. Its going to suck if you snap it, so make sure you really want to do this. I was just trying to replace the bulbs as they were all burnt out.
