luminous intensity means how bright. and im assuming wavelength means the shade of the color

ha thanks for the link i was looking for a place to get leds for cheap, i'm redoing the factory spoiler 3rd brake light w/ them w/ a 10k mcd (really fukin bright led)

well i jus wanted to know about individual bulbs...and j-effin-t was talking about the spoiler light not a taillight...but thanks anyways...

just go to the site oc posted, but delete the 1157 part. the bulbs you're looking for are 194 and 74 for cluster bulbs.

anybody happen to know the codes for the tail brake and signal lights?

mcd is millicandela, a measure of brightness. the 500mcd are pretty dim, 10,000mcd can blind you. the wavelength is the color of light. 400nm - 700nm is visible light color. 400 is around where uv/purple is, then it goes blue 460 then green and then yellow, then orange, and red at 700. size is how big the led is. 3mm is smaller than 5mm obviously. also you need to know some other things like forward voltage and milliamps to determine the proper resistor.

i shouldve stayed in my electronics program in school...
but do i really need resitors?
