legal turbo w/out sticker?

i was jsut wondering, say if i get a greddy or edelbrock turbo kit used, and it doesnt come with the carb sticker, is the kit still considered smog legal? also, what makes the kit legal, is it just the manifold or the whole thing?

its the whole thing. the entire setup is tested and passed or failed depending on results

If it dosent come with a CARB EO Sticker then its mostly likely NOT emissions legal.

Also if a carb inspector is called to come look at your car they run all CARB EO numbers. If they find fake stickers they can haul you off teh jail and impound your car.

you mean to tell me that if you have a carb sticker from a turbo kit that you really dont have on your car,than you can get in trouble for it?or only if the sticker is fake?>
