lengthening Q

i need to lengthen the wires in my harness by about 2.5 feet

is their an easy way to do this, or do i pretty much have to paintstakingly peice by peice lengthen it with connectors

I believe the dealer sells an extension that plugs into the sensor and the car's wiring harness.

It should not matter. They are the same sensor plug on both USDM and JDM engine harnesses.

My friend installed his JDM motor into his USDM car without extending any wires. If that doesn't work, why not use your old engine harness?

well i shouldve given the info

its a JDM 4g63T evo 5 motor swap into a USDM mitsubishi mirage

its about the same thing as dropping a b16a2 into a EK, except that i have to have my transmission modded.
so a harness will work i guess?

the oem harness on the stock mirage motor doesnt work,
