my line out converter for putting rca outputs on a factory radio doesnt work. i spliced into the rear speakers double checked over and over. my amp turns on and everything. when i ground the converter and connect my rca's the red warning light on my amp turns on. if i connect the rcas without the converter being grounded i get nothing. either way grounded or not i get no sound. whats the problem here? i apologize but this isnt in my hatch its for a 01 is300 i took the converter out of the IS to put it in the hatch but i did work before.

swap out converters....the output of the deck might be too high for the converter...

are you just splicing into a stock deck?

definitely...wire the converter before the amp...that should fix your problem...
