I want to get my front/rear lips painted, along with my stock side skirts, and I dunno whether I should paint them myself with Duplicolor auto paint, or prep them myself and take them to a place like Maaco and have them spray it all for $150 or 200.

If you could post pics of what you guys did in terms of paint for your lips, Id appreciate it.

I'd say go get it done profesionally. You caould do the prep yourself though.

if you take it to maaco, make sure u get it clearcoated afterwards, as they do not seem to provide that service.

My cars a 99 painted OEM FBP, so the paint is still in pretty good condition. Anyone got pics of what they did?

Maaco can do nice paintjobs, its just that most people know them for their $200 shitty paint jobs

i say do it professionally unless u really know what ur doin. maaco doesnt do the best job unless u pay a lot. u get what u pay for i guess.

If you dont really care about how it turns out then DIY, otherwise let the people that do that for a living take care of it, its less of a hastle for you, and less stressfull

It's probably just the shadow of the rest of the car over the lip... I think it looks perfect.. Great job....
