Looking at a 04 Honda Civic today

Well the 99 civic flew past me and was not able to get my hands on it. But another guy said he had a 2004 civic 2 door lined up.

Standard (of course) a few light things to fix such as tie rod and a caliper.

Non of the warning lights are on. Not sure what motor is in it but I'm going to check it out tonight at 6:30 after work.

So what do you guys think? Is it worth $1500? Any tips or tricks or anything that I should look out for in this particular model?

It's got 240,xxx KM on it. Not sure what the conversion rate to miles is (I think it's 1.5km per mile)

Not really man seen a lot of civics make the 400k mark easy. The integra I'm driving has 320k on it and it's going fine.

Completely depends on how it was or wasnt taken care of. I have seen them die at 100k. I would pass personally.

Well I went for a test drive. It's pretty solid exterior wise. Front end needs a bit of work possible (possible ball joint or tie rod) and possibly the air manifold has a leak. Thinking about offering $1200. That's not insulting is it?

Well I just figured it out with him. $1500 for the car, summer tires and winter ones (cheaper insurance & you can't even move here without em) and he is going to throw in an extra ball joint he was going to throw in but never got around to it. It's been lowered 1" or 1.5" and has a strut bar. Nothing too fancy but I think I'm starting to really like the idea of this car. The interior is actually MINT. The only thing being is that the pedals are slippery as nuts when your shoes are wet because they are stainless or something. Il end up swapping them out for something else eventually. Transmission is good and shifts nicely. I'm thinking I can get another 60k-100k out of the clutch.

Put some skateboard deck tape on them.
