Whats up cc, im trying to decide on a swap for my 98 dx civic. im trying to stay in the 1500 dollar range. Whats a good swap that i could turbo and it still be a good daily driver?

Do a ls swap fairly cheap and takes boost well. that's the route I've decided to go cause I'm in the same boat as you.

yup do a ls swap or if you want you can get a d16 and boost that little sucker it's going to be way cheaper than any b motors

depends...

boosting a d for power costs a lot more than a b...

ls swap x3...

If you want a swap at that price range id do a B16 over the LS just because i just came from a Ls to a jdm b16 and the horsepower gain is worth that torque loss plus it leaves the option of building N/A or F/I.

or like somejaykid said, i'd do boost the D first and foremost

H23's are inexpensive+big torque, takes more labor to get it in, but if your mechanically inclined, stuffing and boosting should'nt be a problem.

mechanically inclined doesnt drop the cost of mounts, axles, shift linkage and so on which knocks the price right back up there with other swaps
