Looking for REAL Leather STOCK look shifter boot?

The "Crap" stock shifter boot on my girl's '99 EX sedan is ripped at 74k. I want to keep the stock shifter but put a real leather boot in there that will hold-up better than the plastic stock junk? 8)

How in the hell did you tear the original at only 74K???? My 94 sedan had over 225,000 miles on it when I sold it and still looked quite new.

s**t happens... my stock shift boot ripped around 30,000km because my friend got in the car with his skateboard and the nut and the end of his truck snagged the boot and tore it from front to back... then i got one out of a gsr and the knob too

^^^ me too..but it would clash with my car being silver and all..
if u have a black or red car..it looks off the hoook IMO...
my interior is so stock other than the shift knob its ridiculous..

I have that and the ebrake boot just like that in my car. It really sets off the the type R titanium knob

im all honesty they dont really rip that often, i still thiink they best replacement would just be the oem one..

Found one ON SALE

I was geting Silicone hose for my Turbo SAAB when i found a APC REAL LEATHER shift boot ALL BLACK for $17!! 8) Anyone tryed rigging one of these into a Civic? It has a elastic bottom and draw string top. I guess I will have to measure to make sure it is tall enough for the OEM shifter. Then streach it over the metal frame and take the platic retainer out of the stock shifetr whhen I know it will fit.
