Looking to replace dome light of '00 Civic LX

I want to change the dome light in my 2000 Civic LX.
I find the standard incandescent bulb to be a bit dull and yellow. I'd like a nice bright white one instead, preferably an LED.

I measured the stock bulb, which came to be exactly 1 inch in length.
So anyone know of the bulb model number(s) that will fit this car?


-- Recently I bought an LED from ebay and it was about a 1/3 of an inch larger than the stock bulb. When I tried to install it, the metal piece to which it clings onto does bend, but I was afraid it would snap eventually, so I am once again on a hunt for the bulb that will fit best. I had bought this bulb because a source (which I can't seem to find the link of anymore) said that the two bulbs compatible with the 00 LX's dome were the DE3021 and DE3022. Based on that I bought the bulb listed here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/161009690667?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 But it happens to be a teenie bit to big.

So, does anyone know of the model number of a bulb that is compatible with my car?
