Hi i recently bought a 95 hatchback, and wasn't really gonna work on performance, but now I decided to.
I would like to add some easy, and semi cheap horses without a swap.
I threw on a cold air, and exhaust. and I know that headers add a few, but what are some other cheap and easy thing's i could get?

Now it there's really not to many thing's that are cheap and easy, and effective what exactly would I need for a mini me swap. again i'm new at this so please don't be harsh.

PLEASE HELP.

Welcome to the site!! First let me tell you that you have three options...and can only choose two. Fast, cheap, reliable. You can only choose two. If you want fast and cheap, your car won't be reliable. If you want cheap and reliable, your car won't be fast. And if you want fast and reliable, it won't be cheap. Pick two, and let us know. If you want more power without a swap, your options for any noticeable gains are either a turbo/supercharger, or building the engine. Details for both can be found in our engine tech section. If you need help with anything, please send me a PM.

I'm not looking to turbo, or super charge either i don't see the point in boosting a D15 that much, i mean I could probably only safely push about 7 or less pounds of boost on this small of an engine. it's not worth the money to me. I'm young with a low paying job lol. This is more or less a fun project car, I'm not looking to race it. I'm just looking to get an extra 10-15 horses here and there. some more torque as well. I'm thinking get a nice JDM intake manifold, some headers. maybe some performance cams?

any other ideas?
