Looks or Performance????

yeah thats what i am going to do..... i am going to make the car sound and performe a lil more im not in a hurry to get the car in the tracks..... not going to kill my car for just a few hp. im going to work on looks too. its more apealing and make more heads turn!
im going for sound right now....swap is next on my list...then i go for looks
IMO, go performance if you are really concerned with speed and racing and what not. if thats not your bag or not something you plan on doing, go for looks. but if you DO go for looks, at least put on like an intake and maybe some small performance mods.
I'm all about the go no show..but hey if show is you're thing do it up ya know? But I love the sleeper style.
If you leave your car stock (body wise) it'll look clean and then you can invest your money on making it fast. That way it'll look could and still surprise people when they flex on you.
Well, as my cx right now is ugly as sin, I'm going mostly for looks right now: Almost every body panel on it was crumpled!
New doors, fenders and rear bumper have been done. Still need: Front bumper, skirts wheels and tires.
Doing the engine at the same time though- once I get all the fender benders taken care of, before paint and wheels it will be getting a D16Z6, intake and header with exhaust.
Then new shoes. After that seats and interior mods.
Next year I plan on building an engine. No idea what yet, still just thinking of the options and costs.
Car will be a daily driver, as well as a trainer for auto-X. Much cheaper if I learn how to cross in this than my vette!

Yeah since I have a very limited budget I'm going for looks foremost, since the cops around these parts are real hardasses, there really is no neccesity to have a fast car at all, so, right now, I'm just going for looks.

heres a formula that will work, spend equal amounts of time and money on each first do some speed upgrades then do some looks, and if you do it trght you can do both at the same time, example a vtec controler looks hell of nice in a car and helps your car, a cf hood eventhough it is a looks thing it does do a weight reduction, hey 5lbs is 5lbs. so go for both but there is a line that cant be crossed like a really fast show car that is too hard to attain. it has been done but not by someone like you or me
