Losing rpms when my foot isn't holding on to acceleration pedal

So now my car is doing the opposite as it was before. Before it would accelerate while my foot was on the gas pedal. Now,it accelerates while I'm pressing on the gas pedal but if I try to go a steady speed it just keeps on slowing down and losing rpms. Any help or info on where to look? Thank you

Is the throttle cable too loose perhaps?
