Losing water

My 99 has been losing about a half gallon of water during the week I have checked to see if it was getting in oil and no signs..... after purging the coolant system it will do good for a week could it be my water pump? BTW it is a stock 99 ex auto

You would really need to pressurize the system to make finding the leak easy. You could check the local auto parts stores and see if they have one to rent for a cheap price. Otherwise it would just be a guess, I've see a water line under the distributor leak a few times, but with 10+ year old hoses it could be leaking any place, and hopefully not into the motor.

are you putting water in or actual antifreeze?

I but my anti freeze in bulk and mix myself...... we have checked most hoses but I have bought wp tim belt top end gasket set
