its recommended you get a camber kit if you go more than an inch and a half in drop..

yes, youll mostly "need" one since you are lower than 2 inches... but they are good springs.

Thats a huge drop, I have a 2" drop, Tein S tech kit and i'm always bottoming out. I talked to a friend and recommended kyb dropzone struts with the eibach pro kit (1.3 front 1.5 rear) sa of now my front right and rear right struts are busted cause of potholes and the shitty roads in NJ. Goodluck, especailly if you have oem struts.

Mike, where in NJ are you? So you are recommending I don't get the Stechs and go for the Eibach prokit?? I'm still torn, but yes, NJ roads suck.

I'm in Central NJ (Middlesex county) East Brunswick, NJ. We had a pretty bad winter. The roads are so shitty. At night I hit a pothole that knocked out all my interior lights. I thought my car shut off cause of how hard the hit was and the lights going out. I later found out it popped my fuse. I was like how did that happen?!?! anyways yea go with the eibach pro kit. The Stech Teins are cheap s**t and anything lower than a 1.5" drop is too low for your everyday car. Trust me. Look around and i also recommend kyb Dropzone struts.

That is a huge drop, i got Eibach springs on with a 1.8 inch drop front and rear. when i put my camber kit on the tires were about less than a half inch away from the fender. i had to role the fenders out a little so they wouldn't scrape.

but my buddy has same ones on his civic and hes got 18's and dosent scrape, the only time he scrapes is when he goes over bumps and the tires hit the top of the fender (inside)
but theres anybody out there that has a drop this low let me know...

about the camber kit, i have a skunk2 front and have been happy with it, no problems so far =)

as for the tein s-tech, i also have those and am very happy with the springs, i dont have that big of a problem with bottoming out, and when i do its just very lightly, but i do have a problem with the tires rubbing the fender wells (only when i have alota weight on the rear wheels, it dosent do it on the front), but i should be able to fix that with some new 195/50/15s compared to the 185/65/14s i have now (and yes i know i need a new wheel)

As far as camber kits.... DO NOT buy one for the rear. You will most likely need one for the front though.
In my situation, I just put on a Tokico Illumina shock and spring kit (simple as hell to do) with a claim of 1.75" all the way around.
Im at about 1.5" right now til they settle.
I took my car in for an alignment check and was within spec on the camber but WAY out of spec on the toe on the front. The rear camber was out of spec by 2 degrees on each side. Stopped by the auto parts place and bought (4) 10M x 1.25 x40mm bolts and 8 washers(use 2 washers on each bolt. 1 washer = .5 degree). Went back home and literally put them on in 15 minutes. I went back and the washer trick moved each side in 1 degree, which now put it in spec.
This is my first civic and man, these things are tinker toys. Dont be scared to do it yourself.

It will be less expensive to have everything done at once. I don't believe its safe and definately not good on the tires to drive with your camber out of spec....thats why they have specs. ;)
Sorry, I cant answer the ride height question.
