im pulling out the b16 for a complete rebuild that will be setup for around 22 psi via a t60. this weekend im putting a ls in under the hood with only 90,000 i picked up for a couupl hundre so that i can still drive the car. i wanna set the car up with the turbo now so it will be all set when i put the b16 back in. will a stock ls computer obd1 run an the ls with an 8 psi spring on a t3t04e will a fuel pressure regulater fixed 12:1 and a MAP bypass valve. is there anything else i need to get? this is my first time going turbo so i wanna not f**k up and pop the ls before the b16 is done. also can someone explain to me the oil feed outlet. im not sure how to run it and i havent found it online yet so some links or anything would be apreciated thanks

the ls is only going to be in to get the turbo system installed and so that i can drive the car while the b16 is being built. why not chip the p30 for the b16. this is my first time messing with boost. jason_ guy why do you say stop the build on tha b16? im building it for boost. are you saying that because of the turbo size. any help will be great guys and believe me im reading as much as i can on this .

oil feed outlet from the turbo... you gotta run oil from the back of the block by the oil sending unit.

Sorry, I miss read part of it. Definetly keep up with the build on the b16. You just need some crucial parts and tunning for the b18 if you're going to boost it in the mean time. I would recommend leaving the b18 NA and save $$. Then when your b16 is ready, bring it to the dyno. But, there is ALOT of info to gather before slaping a turbo together. Don't use a FPR and AFC (air fuel control, if you can). I'm not trying to be a ass, just saving you from blowin your motor.

i was going to send the ls ecu away to have it chipped and tuned for the t04 turbo @ 8psi. i have some new 440cc injecters that should get the job done. as long as i have bigger injecters then i shouldnt need a fpr regulater because the custom tune on the computer should supply the fuel with the bigger injecters??correct? i can see why you say wait until the b16 is in there to turbo but i just want more power than what ive had in the thing for like a year now. stock turbo ls will get me used to turbo charged power and torque. whenevr any of you guys put in your 2 cents its very helpful thanks
