LX to EX exhaust question.

Sup guys. Before asking here I looked through Google first but couldn't find the full answer to my question.
I have a 97 LX. Everything is stock, besides the after market muffler. I want to get headers, but y7's stock header is also connected with the catalytic converter. I hear that you have to convert to an EX setup, so that's what I plan on doing.

My question is: can I just buy an ex header, ex catalytic converter, the 02 sensors, and install it onto my car with no problem? Or do I need to get the ex header and full catback exhaust so everything lines up? (Trying to avoid doing this one because I like the muffler that I have right now.) Will everything still line up and bolt on easy if I only get the ex header, ex catalytic converter, and keep the rest stock? (the muffler) Thanks!

Why do you want to change your exhaust system? What's the point?

Okay, just so you understand, it won't enhance engine performance.

You'll need to extend and reroute the primary and secondary O2 sensor wires.

You need the cat-back from the EX as well.
