I'm thinking about getting m3 mirrors on my car. I'm just wondering if anyone has it? and for those that do have it, does the LED light burn out quickly? are the mirrors worth buying? thanks.

i have, had them for a while, leds are still working good. as to worth buying, its up to you. i hate the way the mirrors look from the outside, but i love the look when im sitting inside and i look out the sides. my mirrors were not a direct fit even tho they are for my car, i had to do some work with the dremel on both the mirror and my door to get a good fit. me personally, just b/c of the way they sit, i would have rather went with spoon style mirrors, but thats b/c i like the way they flow. ill let you be the judge of whether you like the look, attatched is my album. for decent pics where you can see the mirrors, scroll to the bottom: http://www.imagestation.com/album/pictures.html?show_all=1&id=4289027247&start=1

do the m3 mirrors have the blue tint on them (like BMW's)? how big is the mirror (is it smaller than the stock one)? Is it harder to see cars? How is the blind spot? i think "civikskills" has the m3 mirrors on his car, and his car is the exact same car as mine, color and sedan, and it looks pretty good on his car, so I just want to make sure of a few things before I buy them.

I have the M3's on my hatch. Yes they are tinted blue. Yes the mirror is smaller than stock. I only really use my rear view mirror (the big stretched out one). The blind spot is just the same. Hope that helpshellrazor1219 said:

i dunno about the power part, but the wires for the signals are hella easy. all it involves is finding the signal wire from the corner lamp, and splicing the way you choose. i spliced mine by locating the wires (i will tell you which ones, i gotta find the pic first) cut the wire, then used a connector to reconnect the cut signal wire together with the mirror wire in the connection.

I'd get the Spoon (style) mirrors. I got em and I love em. The m3 just irks me. but that's in my opinion. But I think the m3 mirror, as well as the spoon one won't give as much view as stocks...
I got M3 Mirrors on my hatch, they not the ones I wanted as Dan who put the kit on my car put them on! They not electric & dont have the blue tint on them! They look good dough! Not sure if it would look so nice on a sedan dough...

Eh, I don't like the way M3's sit. They angle out way too much. Most of the time, I only see ricers with them.

I decided not to get the mirrors, because I'm afraid its gonna make my car look cheesy. Thanks for all your help.

my friend just got em for his 04 corolla ... should be here sometime next week. Im likely gonna help put em on so ill talk some pics. Reason he bought them is he hit a truck with the pass mirror and a new stock one is $300 painted. M3's were 58 shipped off ebay and these are power.

I like the way my m3s look, but I have yet to wire them up, I'll probably try and tackle that this weekend...
