hey everyone i went to macco the other day and their having a half off sale right now. well for dents and rust fixed with whole new paint job the total came too 410. i know some people dont trust macco but they did my bumper and it was great. i was wondering if anyone had any bad expirences with them or good ones and if you suggest me to go with them. for the price no one else can beat it. and i really need to fix my rust before it gets worse and end up paying more in the long run so tell me how their work is. thanks :headbang:

shiat, my car is like primered black all around cept for the 4 doors and the top (it's still stock color cuz i got lazy sanding and hand sprayin) but macco is where i'm gonna take it. i've heard that they don't do the best painting jobs but it should make up for it's low costs. cuz i know i'm not gonna be going elswhere. i called like this other place (forgot wut it's called) but they wanted like 3400 for painting my car black. that's a whole motor swap and then some!!!! so macco for me.

I have never spoken to anyone with a show car that bragged about their "Maaco" paint job. They also might shortcut and not use flex agents for the paint on the bumpers meaning it will crack during extreme temperatures.

i just wifey a car and it looks like a maaco paintjob. i was cleaning under the hood because it was really dirty. sprayed it with some degreaser and the fukin paint came right off. i wouldn't trust their cheap paint job. go with the most expensive one, it's still cheaper than anywhere else.

I dont think we have Macco up here in the frozen north, but I would suggest you dont get their cheapest job. I'm sure that if you opt for better paint they will do a better job, as always you get what you pay for. Do they offer any type of warranty?

i repainted my civ from blue to black w/ maaco and it came out straight. check the link to pics of my ride, what u need to do is research the Maaco ur going to and see what kind of spot it is, remember Maaco is a franchise. Im sure we've all been to a mickey's that we love and then an absolute gross mickeys, its a franchise and quality standards will vary. Look for feedback of some kind and what kind of quality rating they have, then go with a good job not the cheapest one they have but something that will be of some degree of quality. I got my car painted back in 2002 while still in college and the pics i have posted on the site are just from several weeks ago, as you can see it's still straight, and im northeast where its extreme temps in between seasons. It's all about the research my man, that and keeping ur fingers crossed...lol but yeah jus check em out and make an informed decision.

macco does paint fine- its the prep work that they skimp on. if you do your own sanding and priming, then you'll be fine.
