i'm not gonna do tons, i plan to do intake, new pipes, headerS, a heavier clutch and lighter flywheel with a good set of tires and from then just minor dressups probably.

and it's a 5.0 ;)

Ford made the early 90's mustangs in that model with the 5.0 for like 2 or 3 years, then switched over to the 4.6

you shoulda took that and gotten a modular motor.. or at least swap this for a 351 windsor. the 305's are terribly flexy and are powerbound by a poorly flowing head, a condition of all windsor motors, but at least with the 351 you get more cubes.

i've been reading about those modular motors, but i'm not going to build this thing into a beast. i'm just going to keep it fast enough to give my dads 95 vette a run for it's money at the track

i wasnt sure what year they stopped making the old box style...personally I like the older style better...at least I was close though 94 vs 95.....But I thought they didnt put the 5.0 in the new style?
