Does anyone have a diagram on how to replace the main relay in a 1988 honda civic dx. I'm almost positive thats the problem because I'm getting a code 16.

Unplug and remove the main relay. You can resolder rather than replace it to save money.

so does that mean that I won't have to unscrew anything? I can just unplug it? And yeah I'll probably end up re-soldering it because the cheapest replacement I was was $53.

Check the starter switch located at the top of the clutch pedal. Unplug the connector and jump the two terminals with a jumper wire. If the starter now cranks the engine, then replace the switch.

thank you.. i took the starter and solenoid out of the car.. the solenoid wont go back together completely.. the pins in the solenoid cap will push in when you push them but the actual contact thing( with the gear and bearing) wont go in when you push it in...
