Whats up CC members. I'm wondering how often is maintenance required is on your turbo setups? Ex: how often do you get it tuned and how often do you go over your motor to make sure everything is in tip top shape?
It's been about two years since I have been in the honda scene and I'm now buying an 07 si. Last time I was on these forums, people were afraid to run more then 8psi on stock B18C's and now I'm seeing people with k20's stock at 10-12 lbs of boost?? Obv. you can only get away with so much power especially with a stock vtec motor due to high compression so what gives? Did they beef up the internals on the k20 and are these setups reliable or is it just going to blow 6 months to a year from now?I'm trying to decide between FI and NA with about $3500. I want a reliable car bc this is my daily driver. I really don't want to boost a k20z3 stock and have something let go or always have to pay constant attention to it but then again I want good power...
