ok, so i was messin around last night tryin out my new guage cluster i got off of ebay. after i found out the b***h didnt work i put my stock cluster back in, turned the key to acc. to make sure all the lights still worked. this morning when i was leaving for work i cranked my car and saw the malfunction light on. it has never come on before and my car still runs ok so does anyone think its something i did when put my cluster back in, i dont think so because its pretty damn straightforward. somebody please help i dont want to have to deal with the hassle of going to the dealer, but if i have to then i will..

go to auto zone and have them do a check engine light code read.. they will plug a machine up to your ecu and it will tell them what is wrong with the car
before you do that though unplug the negativer terminal of your battery and then reconnect it.. that should clear the code ...but it will come back on soon if you acutally have a problem.. it might not come back on immediatly and it might not come back on at all

Weird, but why would you put in a different cluster in a brand new 05? Those clusters look great as is.
