I saw in some ADD of a piggy back risister that connects to the MAP sensor....It has several adjustment settings from Power to Economy...How much extra power is expected at the power setting? Will there be gains in gas millage in economy setting... From past experience most of these gadjets do very little to your car but lighten your wallet a lot... Anyone heard anything on these type of products?

i would not recomend using one of these..

this is a fuel map

and this is a spark map

The columns are split up into small segments based on intake manifold vacuum. The left most column is the most vacuum the ECU accounts for (shut throttle plate) and the right is obviously WOT. the problem with the hacks is they just change the voltage of the map sensor and put these into different columns, but the problem is that when you move it you not only move the fuel map but you also move the spark which can potentially be a big problem unless you have a separate spark controller, but i would still recommend getting a tune it would be safer and potentially cheaper in the long run
