0-1 psi... you need to dump more fuel into it when you turbo it. tell us about your set up and we can help you out a bit more.

instead of searching how much psi you need to search and read about how turbo kits work.. what goes into them etc etc..

sounds like you've got a ways to go but you'll get there... there was a time i was once like you

get some injectors a wideband, and a chipped p28. Make a basemap and tune it. I would say 10 is max wiht a good tune if you dont go crazy with it every day.

guys guys your forgetting. 7psi on a t3 super60 is ALOT different than 7psi on an rhb5 for example.

the p28 is a vtec ecu. if he wanted to convert to obd1 and run uber it'd be cheaper to pick up the p06(non-vtec)

98xSLVRxEK -go read up at www.turbod16.com and www.homemadeturbo.com

it sounds like you know VERY little about turbo kits and i would suggest you do some research before posting like this

yeah sounds like you need to read some more before you start working on it - its the only real way to learn ... the 190cc's on the y7 are FTL ...

also agree'd you need to worry about CFM as well as the psi ...

also try registering at turbod16.com - you will learn alot there as well.

I have a y7 - I am buying new gaskets this week and starting my turbo install the end of july when I have time off - here is what im running to give you an idea of a parts list ... the turbo and manifold Im using can obviously be swapped out for parts of your choice: also the Intake manifold on th y7 sucks - if you can find one get a y8 intake manifold.

d16y8 intake mani
arp head studs
Log manifold w/ bmcrace adapter plate
14b Turbo
precision 310cc injectors
godspeed intercooler
custom necessary piping and 2.5inch down pipe
turboxs bov
golden eagle vacuum block
chipped p06 w/crome and OBD1 jumper harness

thats a basic list of my parts so you can compare if you want :thumbs up and let us know how it goes

What are your power goals, that looks like exactly what I'm after.

i would like to see 200whp - a lot of people daily drive with setups like that no problem ... but anything close to 200 at the wheel Ill be happy - 190s etc ... its a temporary for now, eventually Im gonna build a d16y8 w/vitaras etc for boost.
