Max rim size

Hi,

I just bought a 2006 civic hybrid and I wanted to know if 17' or 18' rim with low profile tires will fit without scraping the wheel well. Also any opinions on which would look better?

Either will fit, the Si came with 17" wheels and there is an OEM optional HFP wheel that is an 18" rim.

I have an 2007 LXI JDM
Installed a 18x8 ET 42 with 225/40R18
It rubbs my fende a little (Only with aggressive humps), I think ET 45 will not rub at all

18" is the max you can go if you still want it to look good. If you don't care how it looks, people have fit up to 21" wheels on the 8th gen before, lol

18's on a civic look ridiculous IMO. 16" max. You can modify your car to fit 28" if you wanted to..
