hey everone i have a 94 ex coupe with a d16y7.The problem is that when it has ran for a while manily during the day (hot day) when i stop at a red light or stop sign it would idle rough and go dead? Another problem im have is when im under power it really slugish mainly when i switch gears. I do know that i do not have the right ecu. I dont know what kind it is. Theres no kinda number or writing anywheres on it. I have put my buddys p72 ecu (integra ecu) and it would run like a scalded dog. So the question is. Is my ecu to blame for the sluggish response?.....To help everone i have changeed the clutch so its new. I have swaped a tranny couse it was going out on me. The motor has a Skunk 2 intake, Skunk 2 timming gear, 4to1 header,3 inch exhaust from header back "not cat" cold air intake, and a light wight fly wheel and a stock oem clutch If anyone can help me pleas do thanks alot

NOTE TO EVERONE IT HAS A VTEC HEAD ON IT IT DOES HAVE VTEC

If you open up the ecu the board should have the number/ecu type on it. I would say that it could definitely be an issue if you dont know what ecu it is.

The cam gear/head combo could be an issue too if the timing isnt right.
