Me vs. GSR hatch

saturday nite gotta call from my homeboy that this dude got a 96 yellow hatch with a 99-00 front end and rear tail lights with the following specs:

JDM 01 GSR swap
ITR Cams
Hondata
Skunk2 Intake Manifold
ACT performance clutch
Cold Air Intake
Stock Exhaust manifold
Exhaust
Fluidine Radiator
No A/C compressor/condensor
No PowerSteering what so ever

against me in my 00 Civic coupe with:
B20b block
B16a head w/ 3 angle valve job
JDM GSR Cams
Stock Intake Manifold
Intake/header/ 2.5 inch exhaust
Stage 2 clutch
11lb Flywheel
A/C belt hooked up
P/S but belt not hooked up
Stock 99-00 SI ECU

Raced 4 times behind these warehouses between 183 and Rock Island off of valley view ln. 1st 3 races i took him a little bit over half a car lenghts last race i gave him a head start about 1 to 1 and a half car lengths but near the end of the race caught up with him and it was neck to neck when we both decided to slow down Well his car does weight a lot less than mine and also even more less since he had no A/C or P/S components....all he had was 17" gun metal motegi's and a couple of subs in the back.

So just wanted to let u guys know it was a good friendly race and the car ran pretty good but is acting funny now when you tap the accelerator to feel the torque...so we gotta take it back into the O/R this saturday..if you guys know who this kat is with the yellow 96 civic hatchback with a 99-00 civic front end fell free to point at him and say HAn HAn jk jk....laterZ oh also we might be thinkin bout doin this again some time in the future when my car is runnin smooth again cuz he's got a couple of more friends with some hatchbacks...so if you guys are down let me know...peace

Actually... the 96+ hatches weigh a lot for being a hatch ~2300lbs +/- 50lbs vs. b20/vtec with torque advantage. And having 17's and subs.. I think it's a pretty fair race (still think the extra torque is an advantage here). Plus you can't really factor in weight in a race, I say, race what you bring. And letting everyone know the exact location of races is a no-no.

yea he also has an aftermarket suspension where me with my stock suspension and all the torque i was just wheel hopping. haha but yea migs he owns the store called One Stop over there off of valley view/Pioneer rd near the indian restaurant called Haveli. let me know if you wanna see the spot where we do it.....laterZ

Nooooo!!!

Come to find out I busted the driver side Piece Of Sh&t stock motor mount, that cause too much engine movement in the engine bay...which caused me to blow my headgasket......but now i've got me an LS block and will run LS/Vtec for now and hopefully later on go LS/Vtec-Turbo hahah just wanted to give u guys the bad news...
