Meu Honda Civic eh muito Lento D16y7

Eu tenho 1 Honda Civic D16y7 Ano 1999,
E acho ele muito muito lento Motor 1.6 16V sohc e agora vou comecar
a fazer alteracoes nele, mas gostaria de saber o que fazer primeiro.
ECU Chip Eprom, aqui no Brasil este chip custa proximo a 400,00 reais.
Eu acho muito caro, e gostaria de saber quanto custa em media.
Ja troquei o filtro de ar, trocando o ECU quantos HP vai me dar?
ele tem 106, vai para quanto?

i don't know portuguese, but i can somewhat understand you with my knowledge of spanish (i'm from chile)... i hope you can understand me if i type in spanish:

olvidate del chip de ecu. es una perdida de dinero.
parte con el filtro do aire, induccion
desues no esta mal cambiar el tubo do escape del auto. no solo el 'muffler' pero el sistema do escape entero (todos los tubos)...
