Mini me swap ?'s

ok ive heard of many people taking a 1.6L vtec head and swaping it onto a 1.5 non vtec block. i have the head and im getting the p28 ECU soon and headgasket, but what else do i need? how much hp and performance will this give me? i heard something about a vtec wire?

just adding the vtec head alone is gonna give u like 20 to 30 hp. but ya, u are gonna need to run a vtec wire. just do a search on the net for the swap, there are alot of good sites.

Good chance to bring it up - that is the slickest 5th gen hatch I've ever seen. If I had a 5th gen, it probably would have come out almost identical (blue w/white accents, callouts).

i got H&R lowering springs its dropped 2 inches already it looks lower now that i put 15" blackies on my car now, got sick of them damn 17"s, i couldnt handle the rough ride and the slower starts.

hahaha first off you tried to say you had a b16 ahahahaha and you got owned.

and the mini me is gona give you about the same HP as a SOHC VTEC motor will. unless you modifi the block.

Hey I had a mini me swap in my 93 eg hatch I didint need to run a wire because I bought the si harnes I also had a p28 ecu and it was very easy to instal and I felt the diference in power i since I had a cx before. No modfications neede to the block beside buying the si timing belt and si head gasket.
