yes you can i did it to mine (see sig below)

what i did is got a can of touch up paint that matched my paint code and then used this stuff called "bulldog" adhesive promotor and put on a few coats of that then applied the paint, and it looks like i bought it that way.

btw make sure to tape it off well or it will look crapy and half-assed

thanx guys but is there an alternative to using "bulldog"? i live in the dominican republic and i dont think ill find that here.

** i got tired of looking for a red hatch with the black side moldings so i took the first car that had them **

well i was just throwin out a brand... the stuff is just paint adhesive promoter, you can prolly find it in the touch up isle in an auto parts store like autozone or advanced

how many cans of touch up paint did you use? when I think of touch up paint i think of the little 'fingernail polish bottle' things that honda gave me...

the dominican republic doesnt have auto-body shops to paint the side moldings? it should only cost like $50-$70US to color match'em .. and would look more professionally done..

jus my 2 cents.

if you choose to do them yourself, try to see if u can remove then without breaking the clips. if so, you'll have a much easier time, since u don't have to spray directly on the car.. if not, you'll have to tape off the rest of the car (use blue tape and newspapers, u'll be fine)...

i would sand them down a bit first, spray some paint adhesion promoter.. and spray on the paint in very thin layers.

or alternately like stated above by TRUE, just take it to a body shop
