Minor updates

Painted the spoon mirrors:

Then started on the hood:

Matches pretty decent i must say, not perfect, but better than a nasty primer'd hood i guess.

Some fun with wrinkle paint..

New bar..waiting on the second.

So yeah. Not much of an update...but thought id share. The Y8 is going out this week, z6 in (for DD) and building the Y8. Head will be built this week.

Its just the 'silver' from duplicolor. Got it at autozone

1. what happened to your cf hood?
2. you have a d series. Last time i checked the hood will clear mounted in the stock position
3. yellow headlights? Not sure about colorado but in ca those will get you pulled over quick

i love painted spoon mirrors, can't wait till i get some. where'd you get those? and also how'd you paint them - on/off the car? and i'm guessing you taped off the black part?

Thanks guys. Got the Mirrors from jdmshit, and i did tape off the black part (you can also just unbolt the main part from the plate..but i was too lazy..so i kept them on the car, taped it, and covered my car with newspaper. lol.

I just sanded them down a bit, slapped a few coats of duplicolors 'silver' on it, wetsanded lightly then clearcoated. they turned out great

Looks good.. I dont really know about the heads, but everything else looks really good. I like the spoon mirrors, I just dont want to have to move them manually..

dont worry, spacers are out of the hood, was doing some work today on it and just figured i should take them out. ill get updated pics, and see if you guys like it more.
